Day 0, 23rd June. The incubator – putting in the eggs

The incubator was set running 24 hours before the eggs were put in with the following settings: Temperature 37.5 deg C; Humidity 45%. The incubator had been disinfected as were each of the eggs before they were put in.

The following photo shows the water reservoir and the pump which draws water into the incubator to increase the humidity:

Here are the eggs in the incubator. Water is dripped onto the blue sponge to increase humidity:

You can see the writing on the eggs showing breed B (Black East Indian) and C (Call duck) and the date hatched.
