More Jersey Giant chickens…

Here are the first ones hatching, also the first ones to hatch in the hatcher (see next post)

Of the 14 most were blue or black but there were 3 lovely splash ones:

Here are the last 6 before they left. The photo makes the 3ft long brooder look tiny!

24 eggs in the incy 18th April.

By day 15, 8 eggs had been removed leaving 16.

9-10 May 14 hatched, 6 black, 5 blue and 3 splash…
